Let’s get out the 10 inch squares you have stored in your stash to make this beautiful quilt. You would never know it but this quilt block is made with only four half square triangles. Once the triangles are made you cut them in half twice then put them back together. If you would like a larger quilt you could always add a border or two. This quilt gets its name because half of the quilt blocks half a background center and half have a center of color. Or did it get its name because we take a half-square triangle and cut it in half and half again. What do you think? See you in class.
