Serape Party Quilt
Who is ready to party?? Teresa Coenen will bring the fun as she guides you through Serape Party 62 x76 using a jelly roll and contrasting fabric. Too close to the holidays to start a new project? No worries. Select a few holiday strips to create Serape Runner 18"x40" using the same method. Plan to have some fun at this party! We'll play Trader's Dice with Christmas fabrics for an added touch of fun!
For the 62"x76" quilt
1 Jelly Roll (any Fabric Choice)
1-3/4yards contrast fabric (includes binding - will be used for center squares and border)
Ruler, mat, cutter
Machine and general sewing supplies
For the 18"X40" runner (shown Christmas)
(7) 2-1/2" strips for the runner
½ yard border and binding
Ruler, mat, cutter
Machine and general sewing supplies
We will play Trader's Dice with Christmas strips. If they want to play, have them bring (6) 2-1/2" Christmas strips. They can bring same fabric, or a variety of fabrics. When the game is finished, they can use the strips they received in the trade for their runner.
You are welcome to stay for the afternoon to continue sewing!
