Beginning Sewing with Kate and Sue - Drawstring Bag
Join Kate and Sue for another fun beginner friendly sewing project. This easy-to-make drawstring bag is perfect for all kinds of things. Use is as an eco-friendly gift bag, project bag, travel bag.... This class will also help to sharpen your sewing skills. You will learn to read a pattern, how to layout fabric, add a lining and a casing for a drawstring. You will be able to pick out your own fabrics from ACME (fabric and pattern are included in the class fee). We will use the time to sew and finish your project.
Bring your machine if available and sewing supplies. A limited number of sewing machines are available for use at ACME.
All ages 9 and above are welcome! We will have a quick lunch break so bring a sack lunch.
