Stripology - Ana and Elsa Companion Quilt Class
A confident beginner class where we will make 2 beautiful quilts with little waste. The triangles cut off the rectangles from the Ana block are used in the Elsa quilt and vice versa. You will learn how to cut yardage and fat quarters into strips, squares, rectangles, diagonal cutting and squaring up your blocks. Using your Stripology ruler will help you reduce your cutting time and improve your accuracy.
Required: Stripology Squared or XL Ruler, Stripology Quickies pattern book, GEasy Ruler stickers.
Please bring the following basic supplies to class:
• Sewing machine in good working condition
• ¼ “ foot
• Basic sewing supplies – pins, small scissors, seam ripper, thread, stiletto
• Small iron and ironing surface (ACME has some in the classroom, but it will be convenient to have one at your sewing space.
• Rotary cutter and cutting mat large enough for your Stripology ruler. Again, there are some in the classroom, but it might be more convenient if you have one at your space.
Fabric requirement from the book for the size of quilt you choose to make. Please do not cut your fabric before class.
