Invisible Machine Applique

Create a beautiful simple project while learning turned edge applique tips and secrets!

Tool and Supply List –

-Sewing machine in good working order
-Knowledge of your machine a must!  Please bring sewing machine manual.
-Mirror image on machine (very helpful, not required)
-Open Toe appliqué foot
-Zig Zag throat plate on machine
-That Purple Thang
-Invisible Thread
-Rubber Cement Glue
-60/8 Needle
-Roxanne's Glue Baste-It
-Thread for bobbin (in a light color or color to match background) (I use 50 or 60wt. like Aurifil, Gutterman or The Bottom Line)
-Paper Scissors (to cut the rinse away stabilizer)
-Sharp edged sewing scissors (to clip curves, etc)

Fabric needed:
     Background fabric (hot quarter is plenty)
     Tulip/Heart/Leaves - about 5" squares 

Supplies needed to finish the project (we will not have time to finish this in class)

   Hot Quarter for border and binding

   Batting

   Backing

You are welcome to bring a snack for yourself since class goes over the lunch hour!
